Rev. Akhila is a cultural guide and former lecturer affiliated with University of Kelaniya and Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka.
Soul Travel was established with the vision of sharing the spiritual, cultural, and natural heritage of Sri Lanka with travelers from around the world. Special attention is given to authentic experiences, Buddhist heritage, cultural understanding, and meaningful connections throughout every journey.

Spiritual Advisor & Meditation Guide
Rev. K. Somissara is the Chief Incumbent of a respected Buddhist monastery in Sri Lanka, known for housing one of the longest reclining Buddha statues in South Asia. A graduate of University of Ruhuna with a Special Degree in Buddhist Philosophy, he brings deep knowledge of Buddhist teachings, meditation, and Sri Lankan spiritual heritage.
Through Soul Travel, Rev. Somissara offers spiritual guidance and authentic Buddhist meditation experiences for international travelers seeking peace, mindfulness, and cultural understanding in Sri Lanka. His meditation sessions and temple experiences are especially popular among visitors interested in Buddhist tours, spiritual retreats, and wellness travel.
For many years, he has worked closely with Buddhist communities and travelers from Germany, Finland, Switzerland, and Poland, helping foreign visitors explore Buddhism, meditation practice, temple culture, and traditional Sri Lankan spirituality in a meaningful and peaceful environment.
